Join Voices
This summer Voices will rehearse on Tuesday evenings, 7-9pm at UNC's
Person Recital Hall beginning May 29th. Some additional rehearsals
will also be scheduled. Auditions are not required for our summer
session. Registration opens in May. The theme for 2012 is "Stairway
to Heaven." Music includes: Faure REQUIEM, and song arrangements by
Moses Hogan, George Gershwin, and Irving Berlin. A guest harp
ensemble will perform on the program.
Auditions for the Voices Fall 2012 semester will be held in August.
Voices rehearses every Tuesday night, 7:30pm-9:30pm in the Parish
Center of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 940 Carmichael St, Chapel
Hill, NC.

Join Cantari
Voices' select vocal ensemble rehearses on Monday nights, 7:15-9:15 pm at UNC's Hill Hall. Auditions are required, by appointment with the conductor. Contact Dr. Klausmeyer via email to discuss opportunities in the group.
Dues and Costs
The registration fee for any one chorus is $60, and for any additional chorus in the same semester the fee is an additional $20. Therefore, registration in only Voices, or only Cantari will cost $60. If you are in Voices as well as Cantari the total fee will be $80. For the purposes of registration, the Summer Chorus is considered to be a continuation of the spring semester, therefore if you were in either Voices or Cantari in the spring, then the summer fee is only $20. Singers are required to purchase a music packet for each concert. The price of the packet varies, depending on the music selections for the concert. For Fall 2011 the music packet for Cantari is $25 and Voices costs $25.

A small number of scholarships are available for those needing assistance with chorus dues. If you need financial aid, please fill out the Financial Aid Application Form along with your registration form and submit it to the membership chair.
